The Wandering Blacksmith is about to be released

By February 4, 2020Uncategorized

Just today I submitted the final file – the book will be released on the 6th of February. I am very happy with how it all wrapped up, and thank you to all the readers who showed their support and read along as I published the individual stories.

I originally started these as a fun bonus to post alongside The Hidden Wizard. It’s been pleasantly surprising to see that people have been really getting into the stories and asking for more of Vincent’s past. I’m really glad that the end result is a fantastic book that’s both an entry point into the series, as well as a satisfying addition for existing fans.

As the book is now being released I’ve had to take down all the free stories. I’m really keen to find out if that’s something that’s worth trying again (for the books where it makes sense). If you enjoyed reading along as I wrote, send me a note and tell me why!

The final cover and a short description of the book is below.

Forging a new path…
… is harder than banging a hammer.

How can Vincent escape his heritage?

Being the son of the world’s greatest wizard isn’t easy. Especially when you want a different life. But changing your name and taking up a trade can only get you so far.

Vincent will need to make a choice. Turn a blind eye to the problems of the world, or stand up and fight for justice his own way.

      Hi Walt,

I have great news – there are audiobooks for the entire fantasy series. I haven’t posted about them here as there have been some delays getting some of the books through to Audible. However, all 4 books are available at all the other major audio retailers.

Right now there’s a promotion at Scribd where you can sign up for 30 days of free access, no credit card required. That’s a way to listen to the whole series for free: https://www.scribd.com/readfree

I hope you enjoy the audio and let me know if you have any issues accessing the audiobooks.

      Cheers,
      Vaughan
